Well poo. For the first time in my entire life, I had a doctor I really liked. I've been seeing her for eight or nine years now. She's the most positive, wonderful person I know. She hugged me for losing weight (after asking if it would be okay), and forever after I wanted to lose more just because it made her so happy

Bummer about having to change doctors... That's always such a pain, but especially a pity if you have one you like a lot :(

And sad to hear the second book doesn't live up to Seraphina :( At least I'll have a chance to adjust my expectations, I guess...

Yeah. Hopefully I'll like the new one as well, but what are the chances he or she would be as good?

And yes, if nothing else, I'm hoping my reviews will adjust expectations. I went into Shadow Scales expecting so much, maybe that's why I'm not liking it as much as I did the first.

I feel for you. My insurance tried to have me change doctors after 20+ years while I am in the middle of the weight loss attempt. Yeah, I was able to fix it, and keep my doctor. I hope you find another that you feel comfortable with.
