Food, work, sleeping

Another day, another two pounds lost. While I'm happy (so happy), I know it's not real weight loss (or at least not as much as the scale says). It has to be still mostly water weight. Though heck, I'm 100000% fine with all 10-15 pounds I need to lose being water weight ( Read more... )

Re: the rice cakes--a lot of people have "NEVER AGAIN" boundaries when it comes to food issues, and, sure, we break them, it happens, but you're doing this whole thing in a way you wouldn't usually try to do for long term because of someone else's requirements, so, I agree it's extraordinary times and measures and such and you're doing what you gotta. *hugs* *hopes long-winded answer sounded positive in the way it was meant to*

Yes, that came out sounding positive. :)

They're, well, not good, but not the most awful thing either. So long as you eat them straight out of the package. They get stale VERY fast (I had one on my plate for three hours before eating it, and it got stale in that time.) Once they lose their crunch, they're just not worth eating.

Thanks!

Wow, you're doing great! :)

I second the comment about an infusion made from stinging nettle (it even tastes good, sort of minty). If you like parsley, that helps as a mild diruetic too.

Wow! 150 calories for a WHOLE PINT of semi-ice cream sounds great! Next time I go shopping, I'll look for it. :D

Oh! I heard of PB2! At the moment I'm going to stick with the regular stuff though. Peanut butter is my one true love (especially in ice cream -- my mouth is watering thinking about this). But! If it gets to the point where I need to lose faster, I'll look into it. Sprouts stores around here carry it, I've seen it there.

Thanks! <3

I think you are doing great!

Where the heck do you work that offers unlimited treats once a month? That's unreal O_O;

Ooh chicken broth! My dad used to make bouillon broth a lot when I was a kid, and he would just drink that without anything. I got into it too, and I still think of it as a nice snack when I have a craving for something savory.

Isn't it crazy? I loved it, when I could take advantage of it.

That's what I'm hoping to do with the broth, too. It's cooking now and smells so good, but it's way too early to try it yet.

And thanks! <3
