For folks new to my LJ, years back I used to post disturbing stuff on a regular basis (always with warnings and descriptions). This video reminds me of that.

To be honest I don't see the point or the bravery in sticking some wool into your vagina and knitting something with it. Why would I want to buy a bloody scarf/sweater/whatever?

Me neither. She says she's a "craftivist", but I'm not sure what she's being an activist for.

Me, too, and I was rather impressed..until I saw the vid.

If she just put the wool in her lap she could even sit down more comfortably.

I bet there is a small, highly specialised market for it, though. People will buy anything as long as it's weird.

I am rarely without words... My wife attends a monthly knitting group, it gives me the most hilarious mental picture to imagine one of these women sitting down, whipping her dress up and casting on from betwixt her thighs.
