Eee! *bouncies* RP! WoW and Song of Ice and Fire

First off: If I wanted to annoy my friends list, I'd make this in 100 point font size, flashing neon yellow with a background of pink sparklies: I love my guild! Oh My God, I finally found MU*-quality level RP on WoW! My favorite thing in RP is when I don't OOCly know what's going on -- don't know what the real truth is, don't know who to trust ( Read more... )

I once read something that quantified WoWs PvE perfectly for me:

"You know WoWs PvE is pretty hard. Sometimes there is a fire, and you have to jump the hell out of it!"

I have all my buttons memorized by now so I don't actually have to look at my icons/bars unless I'm doing something weird that I don't normally do, I can pay attention to my scrolling combat text and where I am standing.

Yeah, if I did more I'd probably memorize more, then I'd be able to watch for things like fire and flames and death vomit!

In Song of Ice and Fire, #4 is only half a book. Martin found out that it was just too big for one book, so followed only one half of the characters. Don't worry! They'll be back! :)

Yeah, I knew it was half a book, but I hadn't realized how he split it until I read these comment. I figured it'd just be at the halfway point, not one group of characters in one book, the other group in the other. At least book 5 should rock!

Instead of splitting the story into two halves lengthwise, Martin did it sideways, with half the POV characters in one book, and half in the other. He allegedly also wrote some extra stuff to wrap up book 5, as well.

Oooh. I knew it was just half a book, but I thought it'd be split in half time-wise (eh, story-wise?), not one group of characters in one book, the other in the next. Blah. Oh well, book 5 will probably be the best of them all!

Power hungry yes, but stupid? I'd say Cersei is probably the second most intelligent character in the book behind Tyrion. She's clever and manipulative and very piercing. She's one of my favorites. ;)

I like that by the end you've gotten a good idea of why she did the things she did throughout the series. Terrible person, but one with actual motivations instead of just a cardboard villain cutout.

Doesn't make her eventual comeuppance any less sweet, of course.

Hmmm. I could be mixing her growing-insanity in with her stupidness (or lack thereof). She's doing stupid things because her sanity is going, but I guess you could be right!

She's one of my favorites. ;)

Yay! You can have her then! *shoves*

Rule #1 of WoW: Don't stand in shit.

Heroix might seem bad at first glance, but some are better than others, and you'd be surprised at how quickly badges build up so you can buy some gear. T9 might not have the kind of look you want for your RP, but there's still some pretty good badge gear that's non-displayable and will make the game easier. Just be careful that your gear doesn't get too good, or you'll be asked to raid. Raiding sucks.

*laughs* Being poked to raid doesn't seem like something I have to worry about yet. Every other day or so they ask me to go do Heroics, but other than that first time, they've taken no for my answer. :D
