I was second-chair violin in a couple youth orchestras up until college, then spent some time in a local symphony during some down time. Sadly, had to sell my violin for food money when I was suffering malnutrition in grad school. But I do love me some classical/orchestral. Thanks Thistle!

The Flower Duet from Lakme is a strange choice here. I have to admit, it was pretty much the last thing I was expecting from a TSO song called Child of the Night.

The original is an extremely beautiful soprano duet; it always makes me sad to hear it synthed up and used in Ghirardelli commercials and whatnot.
