"Something new?" she asked, tilting her head to the side even though they were laying down.

"Okay," he nodded, getting up to fetch his guitar. He strummed the chords, tuning it, before he began to play a little demo.

"I just found this band recently, and had to learn the song," Matty explained.

Angelica sat up, trying very hard to remain patient. "Play it!"

He grinned, playing the opening notes. Usually, he just played most of the song for her to hear, and then depending upon if she liked it or not, would teach her section by section the piece.

This time, Matty had selected "Jasey Rae" by All Time Low. It was a intense, but it was cool. She could handle it.

He tried to mimic the voice, and it was probably slightly entertaining.

Angelica giggled in a more loving way than a making fun sort of way.

"I like it," she said plainly when he was finished.

"Ready to learn it then?" he smiled, handing her the guitar.

"I was born ready!" she said, sounding exactly like Matty.

Matty practically snorted, laughing at her. "Sounds good then. Remember the G chord? On the lower strings."

Angelica stuck her tongue out at him playfully and then nodded, demonstrating a G chord on her guitar.

"Good, good," he nodded, still smiling. "How about D?"

Angelica thought for a moment and then played the right notes. She smiled up at Matty. "I'm good," she laughed.

Matty nodded in agreement. "That you are."

So he grabbed the other guitar, playing those chords in succession, in a certain style, adding in a new one.

"Did you recognize the last chord in that sequence?"

Matty lightly positioned her fingers on her guitar. "Pluck the first four strings."
