I was going to whine about how my friends aren't responding to my emails, causing me to be slumpy, but that would be way too mid-nineties graduate of me (thanks, daniel & co). Why should I complain with all the junk mail to read? I now know I don't have to live with overactive bladder anymore. Thank you non-responsive friends ( Read more... )

You were in band? What did you play?

I played the oboe for 14 years. I was a total band nerd... drum major, section leader, honors groups, you name it. I even taught. I was offered a full ride to play (not at the U), but turned it down. I owned one until 5 months ago. My mom sold Ray while I was in Wien.

Did you play? The flute is coming to mind...

wow. You were intense.

I DID play the flute, but only in the 5th and 6th grade--I had to quit since I couldnt play the violin and the flute both in junior high. So yes, I played violin---I was pretty into it as well....section leader every year, concertmaster my senior year, played as a paid member in the Civic orchestra , was a leader in the Strolling Strings, stars at state music contest, All-State, taught some lessons as well. Yeah. I wasnt all that good though.....that's North dakota for you I guess
