This morning there was a notice from the landlord to say he's found someone for our extra room. It was an advance notice, only I'm not sure quite how advanced, since it was posted over a week ago.

Shouldn't we make some kind of effort? It's so long since there has been anyone new here, I- I don't... wouldn't you want an effort made? What if they think we don't want them here?
