i just spent the whole day painting! i figured it wouldn't take me that long, but it takes a lot longer when you do it by yourself! haha. i really like the color. it's a soothing brown tone called wheat ridge. my room looks like a totally different place. it's crazy the kind of difference color can make ( Read more... )

and how can they make you work on new year's? i mean, you start your other job on jan. 4th, you don't have much to lose. and you can give them notice right now.

i get paid weekly. i blow my money way too quick.

it's not a matter of them making me work, but of me not screwing them over. i pretty much got all my other holiday requests so new years would've been my turn to work. i just want to leave on good terms so if i ever need to come back for any reason, they'll take me.

heya, i saw your journal from my friend ryan's (journal snooping spurred on by an ongoing painfully s l o w workday) and saw you lived in the boston area (beer works gave it away ha). i just moved into brighton myself this summer and im still a little clueless of boston happenings, so it'd be nice to know interesting people (much like yourself) from abouts town. ima gonna add you as a friend if thats cool!
