I have no answers... aside from the fact that glasses are SEXY!!!!
But... I have never had to wear glasses so maybe I'd have a different opinion if I was in your shoes.

contacts can be tricky little suckers sometimes, like just now, I lost one in my eye

That's a really scary thing which has happened to me once where I never got it out. Just now I rubbed my eye a lot and after a while, it fell out, but it's scary because you can't feel it, so I wonder where it goes.
