I would think that eventually most steering and acceleration would be automated in new cars, simply becauseof the tremendous difficulty human beings have in keeping attention focused on such a complex task, even under the best conditions.

umm, okay, lyke OH my Gawd!!! lyke driving lyke a car is lyke soooo hard. okay?!?! cuz lyke it's hard to pay attention to the road. i've got so much on my mind. like... my new boyfriend and like what i'm gonna wear! and like what that girl told that girl that i told her sister about that boy at the mall!! DUDE!!! OMG lyke 4 real!!!!!! WTF?!?! LOL1!!!!111

Driving is not so complex. Maybe if we didn't hand out licenses like pamphlets (take one!) then we'd have less problems.

Or we could just make everything automated because people are fucking idiots. Gah.
