SO, mainly I just really love how you developed Kai in this fic and made him really grow so much and come out of his shell, all because he was inspired by Kyungsoo. And Soo starts off so strong in the beginning, but then he falters and Jongin struggles harder than Soo ever did just so he could get Soo back to him.

I have a real soft spot for that poem, and I always enjoy finding fics that twist the setting of that wordless world into something more. This is a really sweet story, a nice blend of longing, affection, and hope. I loved the way you had Jongin dance because he's too scared to speak, not just because he loves to dance, it makes his desires seem so much more realistic and human. Your characters have heart, and despite the restraints of the world they're in, they still seek out what happiness they can. Kyungsoo is sweetie, omg, I felt for him when he ran after his voice cracked. He was already putting himself on the spot, he was almost like the people's voice, and the fact that his voice suddenly cracked must have made it seem like "oh see this is what happens when you 'waste' words, there's no point". The kaisoo was adorable by the way. :)

isn't that poem amazing? :') I remember first reading it on tumblr, and I was just like, "ugh. this is beautiful. so many feels." lol and I thought the setting of it was so fascinating, too.
