[If you were expecting a whiny teenager on the network giving an exasperated sigh over how the mansion took far too long with its decorating when it obviously could have just been done in about ten seconds as usual, well. You'll be very surprised. Instead, the camera has turned on by itself, and it's angled down...much farther than usual ( Read more... )

[He kind of stares at it for a second, like either a) Narnia is inside there or b) the closet is going to bite him somehow. But Santana got her candy cane-ish socks, so it's probably okay! He beams, and he goes right inside the closet.

And he doesn't come out for several minutes. I'm sure you don't need me to come up with a joke about that.

When he comes out, he has a real boa. It's pink, and fluffy, and way too big for him, and he can't stop touching it. His clothes are the same for now, but he has nicer shoes on, and they clack with every step he takes. ...And this is because there's a tiny heel on these shoes.

You could even say they're sensible.

Kurt looks extremely happy with himself though. He struts right out and poses for Santana and he feels like a movie star.]

Ta da!

[Excuse the narration as it says that THIS IS THE CUTEST THING TO EVER EXIST. Santana, however, is just trying to keep herself from cracking up. She's pretty sure outright laughter would tip him off that she doesn't actually find him super precious.

On the plus side, she's now too distracted to indeed make a joke about closets.]

Whoa, I see you decided against silver. Super fluffy, though--I approve.

[Okay, she's unable to hide her smile now, but with any luck, it looks friendly instead of mocking.] I see you got new shoes.

It is! [He's going to rush up to her so she can feel it if she wants. And clack clack clack go his shoes.] There wasn't pink tinsel, so it had to be silver.

[OH GOSH SHE NOTICED HIS SHOES. He smiiiiiles, and he takes a couple of steps so they make noise again.]

Uh-huh! They're sensible heels.

[He seems pretty proud of the fact that he knows what that word means, and of how awesome his shoes are.]

Do you like them?

[Fine, so she may have felt the stupid boa. His taste wasn't horrible, okay? That didn't make this any less hilarious.]

They sound like tap shoes, kind of. But totally sensible, you're right.

[She's already planning to give the normal-aged Kurt some not sensible heels now. Probably pink and sparkly. She loves this day.]

[Santana, Kurt is going to hate you forever when you do that. But right now, you are his bestie forever, and obviously the coolest person he knows right now.]

Uh-huh! But tap shoes are for dancing, and Mom says sensible heels are good for any occasion.

[This is probably almost a direct quote from Mommy, because he's having trouble wrapping his mouth around the word "occasion".]

[Santana is the coolest person Kurt knows at ANY age. 8|]

She does, huh? [Maybe his mom secretly wanted a girl.] What about your dad?

[A pause. He looks down at his shoes for a second. They're really shiny.]

...I don't think he'd like them as much.

Why not? [She's actually curious. She's met his dad, after all, and he seems almost exaggeratedly understanding.]

Cause they're girl shoes. [He says it super quiet, like it's a secret or something.] I dunno. He'd probably like them more if they weren't...

[Seriously, she's having a hard time picturing Burt Hummel as a dad who would actually show being upset over some girly shoes, but whatever. She knows the happy ending to this story, so she's not going to feel too bad about it.

Because she's an awful human being. She shrugs.]

Whatever. He'll get over it. Totally sensible, right?

[Would he? ...idk, maybe. But it's enough to cheer him up a little, so he smiles.]

Uh-huh. The most sensible ever.
