Book List 2010, The Whole Bloody Thing

Here's the whole list for 2010. The whole thing! Pretty sad, even sadder than my movie list. Last year I got to 40 books by the second half of the year. In 2011, I must do better! An asterix means a reread (although oftener than not, this year, that was a reread in another language).

If it makes you feel any better, I only read 22 books this year, though I was much absorbed with articles and chapters and art catalogs, none of which integrate well into this kind of a list. I can't believe you couldn't get into Lucky Jim! I thought it was a riot.

I wish I could say that I remember anything from Bill Bryson's "Short History..." but I can't and I've read it TWICE.

Sigh. Brain cells hurting no work good.
