Fourth Stage || Video/Action for Goldenrod

Haah... we got even further today! With all the straight-arm thrusts and the roundhouse kicks, we should be cuter in no time! Right, Lala?

[ today Makoto seems to be in the middle of a stretch, and it might be a little hard to see what she's addressing until she turns her head slightly and there's a Feebas in her hood. A very resigned-looking ( Read more... )

proper idol behavior, iori is forever a pain, goldenrod city, nothing boyish here, kawaii training, fish are friends not food, kicking is kawaii, the most feminine of idols

[... well, first things first-]

Being cute shouldn't present too much of a challenge to you, Makoto-san!

[he chuckles a bit. she's endearing this way as is, the way he sees it.

but more importantly-]

But well... I would assume that's what it means to not be able to contact them at all. Anything else would just be disconcerting. I wish I was more familiar with this world so I could assist you better...

R-really? I'm getting that much closer? Eheheheh, I knew training would pay off!

[ right, more importantly-- ]

It's all right... everyone I've talked to keeps saying the same thing, so I'm pretty sure they're back where they belong.

[a laugh]

I'd actually say it's your perseverance and determination that's charming.

But... well, I'm of the belief that they are then, Makoto-san. Rest your worries now. I'm sure your friends wouldn't want to trouble your thoughts so.

It's usually that sort of thing that gets me labeled boyish, though...

And I know they wouldn't, but this is the first time any of my friends have disappeared. Iori might even get madder if I didn't think she was important enough to worry about.

Is it...? How odd! A fiery spirit should be admired no matter whether it is a lady or a man expressing it.

... oh. I understand that feeling. You had close bonds with them then?

We work together, and we're all good friends, even with Iori being in another unit now.

Oh...

[he pauses, thinking of his own 'co-worker']

... I'm very sorry that you had to lose them then, Makoto-san.

I never actually thought about it... that we wouldn't all go home together.

... I understand.

[He frowns at the thought- not going home with Mitsunari? That's...

He shakes his head and plasters on a smile.]

Doesn't that just mean we should catch up to them soon?

... Then we've got to keep pushing ourselves!

Of course! There should be nothing stopping us from our pursuit.

... except moderation, Makoto-san. Don't forget that.

Moderation? But isn't it a waste of stamina if I don't use it?

Heh... my traveling partner has the same idea, but that only leaves you ragged. What if something unexpected comes up? You won't be able to prepare against it at all because you have no energy left! I say push yourself, Makoto-san, but allow ample time fore rest as well.

That does make sense... to save your energy for the times when it counts, right?

ieyasachu November 7 2011, 07:48:21 UTC
Well... yes, essentially. Put your energy into things as much as you can, but not the entire way. Does that make sense?
