Keeping her promise to Father Anderson, Shego was roaming the base as quickly as she could, looking for anyone she could find to help get to safety. Kim was in the back of her mind, though.

Remy was waiting in her apartment when she began to hear the sounds. People were yelling; dark clouds were coming over the horizon. She considered her options. She could stay in her apartment until whatever it was came to her, or she could venture outside and try to figure out what was happening.

She chose the latter option and thus, all alertness, left her apartment and went towards the source of the confusion.

Zombies.

As one finally noticed Remy, a clawed hand decapitated it, leaving a bloody mess on the floor. It was a tall, seven foot demon looking creature, with red markings on his chest. He had tattered wings and large horns, with a purple jewel on his head and glowing red eyes. A grin came on his face, and he flew (hovered, really) at Remy.

"You!" He had a deep, commanding voice.

Remy had begun to run when the clawed hand descended, leaving her standing there, frozen. Finding out that she was originally fictional had been bad enough; this time, she had to acknowledge that all manner of terrible creatures and all sorts of magic were now as real as she was. But this all left her mind when the creature spoke. Remy's heart raced as she stared up at it.

"What?" Remy finally asked. As she spoke, she realized that this could be the very last word she ever said. She would have liked a chance to come up with something a bit more brilliant.

"Kunai Bane!" Blades of feathers cut through the enemies in front of Peckmon, running as fast as he could towards the church. Ikuto was determined to get there and help Father Anderson. He clutched his Digivice tightly, fist glowing a deep purple.

Taking out his boomerang he hurled it, knocking a few zombies out of his way. Seeing the church he looked for Father Anderson as Peckmon took out the last few zombies in front of them.

Anderson couldn't help himself smiling. It was the feeling in the air. It took him back to the hell on earth that was London when he last saw it. "Ikuto! Good lad come here." A few zombies rising behind the boy were quickly put back down by blessed bayonets to their heads, and hearts. Looks like he wasn't loosing his touch. "Here behind the wards!"

Ikuto and Peckmon were next to Anderson in an instant, but the zombies weren't letting up. Slowly, the purple mist around Ikuto's fist spread up his arm.

"No one will enter church! We will protect!" Dead-set on protecting Anderson, the church, and everyone in it, the purple mist- Digisoul, the light of Digivolution- covered Ikuto's entire body.

"Peckmon!"

"Ikuto! I feel your power.. we'll win together, Ikuto!"

Ikuto's Digivice was out, and his voice was strong.

"Digisoul... CHARGE!!!"

"Peckmon, Digivolve!.... YATAGARAMON."

The small creature was gone, and in it's place was a giant bird with three legs- as big as the church itself. The bird screeched, powerful wings flapping, the force knocking zombies down before they could reach him. The ones that managed to jump onto him could not bite through his thick feathers.

"Savage Emperor!" Energy gathered in all three of the bird's claws and it shot the attacks, completely obliterating everything in it's path. Yatagaramon screeched once more, with plenty of energy to protect the church.

The purple around Ikuto was not the odd mist; it was like a line around his body. He had a determined look.

Hushed voices.

"Do you-"
"Shhhhhhhh!"
"Hey, I j-"
"Shhhhh!"
"Are th-"
"I DON'T KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY ZOMBIES, LET ME LOOK, VEEMON!" As Daisuke's shrill yell echoed down the hallway, it alerted the zombies around the corner to their presence.

And now they had to run, again.

Daisuke was tired of running!

"Are you sure you can't Digivolve, Veemon?"

"No, Daisuke, I tried.. I used up all of my energy and I never got to eat.." Veemon broke out into a whine.

"I want ice cream and pop corn!" Daisuke's stomach rumbled as well.

"I do too, little buddy. Man, why isn't Flamedramon working?" His last sentence was a mumble.

Naturally, Ken and Stingmon arrived in time to save the frantic pair, Stingmon's Spiking Strike cutting a swath through the zombies as Ken perched on his shoulder.

"Motomiya! What did you get yourself into this time?"

"Ken!" Daisuke shot a thumbs up, snagging Veemon and jumping onto Stingmon's free shoulder.

"Hey, Stingmon!" Veemon greeted his friend with a grin despite the circumstances.

Daisuke glowered at Ken.

"Not my fault Veemon has a big mouth!"

"You're the one who yelled, Daisuke!"

"YOU KEPT BUGGING ME, VEEMON!"

"YOU'RE YELLING NOW, DAISUKE!"

"YOU'RE YELLING BACK!"

"YOU'RE YELLING FIRST!" This continued.

Ken sighed and shook his head at Daisuke, watching as the zombie ineffectually flailed at Stingmon as they flew just out of reach. Stingmon nodded at Veemon, carefully keeping away from the living dead.

"Will you two be quiet? This is just too weird!" Ken rubbed his face in exasperation. "We kind of need to get away from these guys."

Anakin strode towards the chapel, using the Force to push the foul things out of his way and braining them with his hammer if they got close enough. He longed for his saber, even if it had the red Sith's blade.

His heart sank as a quick scan of the area revealed his deepest fears-- neither Allana nor Anakin-his-grandson was here yet.

He turned on his heel and stormed off, taking out anything that got in his way.

Remy was safe. Time to go back out.

Shego turned, looking at the man in white. She remembered both the movies and her conversation with him.

He should know.

"Hey. Hey, weirdo!" Shego, looking tired and beaten-up (scratches in her suit but no blood, indicating no bites or scratches from them), ran after Anakin. Devimon flew behind her, keeping quiet for once.

"Those two kids. Do you know where they are? It's my job to find everyone. I'm looking for the kids. You're related to them, aren't you?"

Anakin was a mess. His makeshift club and gloves were coated in gore, and his cape had been torn off hours ago.

Ah, the other reformed Sith (or so he assumed). Thank the Force.

"I made contact with Anakin yesterday, I told him to lay low...I haven't seen Allana in days. Just how many others are missing?"

"I have no clue how many people are here. I'm looking for the kids right now. This thing looks like a demon, but he's my partner." She gestured to Devimon; for the devil he looked like, he radiated good.

Shego sighed, leaning against a wall for a moment, hand on her face.

"They just don't stop. And there's so many, so fucking many of them. We have to find those kids."

Kim sat in one of the pews, foot tapping on the floor. She was frustrated beyond belief right now. There were people out there in trouble and she couldn't do anything to help. She had to wait here for others to do her work for her. She hated this. She hated waiting.

But it looked like that was what she had to do.

Anne, after checking on the people already in the church (she was a doctor, after all), came and sat down next to Kim. She looked at her, just relieved she wasn't out there herself.

"Where's Samantha?"

Kim blinked. Samantha? Oh, right. Shego. "She's out there. Saving people and fighting zombies." She waved a hand towards the entrance of the church, slumping a bit as she sulked.

Anne smiled.

"And why are you upset? She'll be fine."
