Owen wandered up, hands shoved in pockets. He might be feeling a little awkward around Ianto after the little bit of opening up to him he had done at the clinic, but on the other hand, Owen was discovering he didn't want to be alone, and Ianto was one of the only people he had here.

Owen shifted his weight, standing next to and a little behind Ianto. Clearing his throat, he spoke with deliberate casualness. "Find anything good then?"

Trying to hide the fact that he'd been a bit startled by Owen's arrival, Ianto continued to flip through the book he'd picked up - a horror/romance novel. "Not yet, but this is a huge library. Sure I'll find something." He finally put the book back and turned to face Owen. He wasn't exactly sure where his standing with Owen was currently, after the clinic. "So what brings you round this part?"

Apparently the book series sai King wrote about her and Eddie and the others was tied into pretty much every other damn thing the man ever wrote. Which meant that if Susannah wanted to know the whole story behind the Dark Tower and everything, she had a lot of reading to do. She had to give King credit for cleverness.

Pity that the book she had decided to start with, Insomnia, was a good three shelves out of her chair-bound reach. She frowned, then turned to Ianto. "Excuse me, could you do me a favour?"

Ianto smiled. "Oh, yeah sure, Miss. What can I do for you." he asked, turning to Susannah.

She smiled up at him. "You see that big ol' doorstopper up there?" She pointed at Insomnia, in all its 600+ page glory. "Could you, uh..." She felt damn awkward asking this nice young stranger such a simple thing. As though he was there to wait on her just because she had no legs!

"Yeah, sure. This one?" Ianto picked up the Stephen King novel from the shelf, noting it's weight. "Up for a bit of light reading, are you?" He handed it over to her with a grin.
