I find it interesting that you're as fascinated with it as you are. Watching your show on television means having to watch yourself objectively, you don't want to view yourself objectively. Of course, the show revolves around you, so it also supports your g-d-complex, but it also means all your secrets are out there for the world to see. And you see how what you say actually affects people.
