Usually an invite to Mac's involves chilling out, insulting, sex, and most often all three. Guy is never expecting attempts at serious conversations from his biffl/partner type.
No surprises then that he's clueless (no change there) when he knocks, roughly around the time he was meant to be there. Guy is never late when possible sex is involved, and possible sex is almost always involved if he has a say in anything.
Mac crosses quickly to the door on hearing the knock, opening it and stepping back to let Guy in, kissing him quickly when the door is closed behind them. He knows the secret is pretty much out, but at the same time, he still feels what they have, whatever they have, should be kept private.
"Drink?" He asks when they part. "Got a full fridge. Though I maybe should stay sober, tonight."
The kissing thing is totally fine, so long as it's not massively public. Guy's slowly getting better with it all. Very slowly, but it's an improvement at least.
"Beer. Or whatever else there is," he replies, immediately making himself at home on the sofa. He doesn't waste time with these things. And he's so busy getting comfortable that he almost misses that last past. "Sober?" It's almost as if he's never heard of that before.
"Yes. Sober." Mac repeats, taking two beers from the fridge - one drink's not going to be a problem - and chucking one in Guy's direction. Stupidly, he trusts the other man to catch.
"A state of being where alcohol is not drunk to a degree where you are drunk. I am aware this is probably a foreign concept for you."

Mac's good at being responsible, sometimes.
