I need a job before I get my spells back, right?

Don't let the wound get infected. If it does, you'll be immobilized for weeks. Believe me, I speak from experience.

As for jobs... Hm. It's been quiet, but if you applied for whatever is left of the organizations, the Threat Mitigation departments require little interaction with people.

I'll try. Since I don't have a Repth spell available I've been keeping it clean with water from the temple fountain. Even though it tastes terrible...

In case the wound does get infected and becomes impossible to treat, try throwing yourself off the clocktower. Death usually restores your body somewhat.

Organizations... to be honest, they don't seem to be very stable anymore. There is Celestial Being, which only seems to have shrunk down to a few people and is busier with personal issues than business, and there is White Fang... which has shrunk considerably, as well. I am not even sure who the leader is, now.

... I don't like dying. When you die, it's like someone puts their hands over your eyes from behind. They don't even say "guess who". And then when they take their hands away, you're just left there... standing... with a little less of yourself.

This might be random of me to say, considering...But, there's a tavern on the lower levels that's low on employees right now.

We could use some hands in the kitchen, I think. You wouldn't be dealing with anyone other than Doumeki, the current owner, and myself.

Hm... maybe. I don't... really know that I remember how to cook. It's been a long time since I had to eat... though I'm starting to get really hungry since I've been here...

You wouldn't necessarily have to cook, actually. You could just work dishes, or behind the bad. Stock, even. We're looking for help in just about every area.

I could teach you, if you wanted. If not, I'm sure Doumeki could fit you in where-ever he needed to.
