I am lucky enough to be able to say that I have never had that experience. I've had cousins who pulled that sort of thing, but I was more likely to be Charlie; standing off to the side, shaking my head and announcing to the world that my idiot cousin and brother just proved that gravity does, in fact, work.

Yes, you are lucky. I was never smart as a kid. I once decided to climb down from a treehouse with my back to the tree. The ladder was boards nailed into the tree. I was able to better see what I was doing, as I though, but what I was doing was falling onto a pile of cement blocks.
