There is an new ad campaign that I caught on on the Drudge Report. It's of 27-year old model Isabelle Caro, a severely anorexic girl, weighing just 68 pounds. I didn't realize what the ad was going to be when I clicked the link, and as someone who has advocated protection against many types of media, including pornographic media, I feel that this ( Read more... )

So sad. SO sad. What's impressive to me is how you can tell how beautiful she is (or would be) at a healthy weight. Her eyes are just gorgeous.

Sigh. I'm glad I'm a size 10. Truly.

I know, even if she gained just 30 pounds, she would have such a light about her, but sadly I think the damage is done. Even if she does live and get healthy, she will always look gaunt and sickly. She will probably never have children and probably won't live very long. And she'll always look like a 70 year old woman because of her wrinkled, damaged face and bones.

I know a lot of people that read this on my blog will probably be upset because it is nude, but I don't know why I feel so strongly that people need to see this. I just know that life is not supposed to be this and there is no reason Hollywood should be endorsing the scary image that they let pass by.
