You know, I have frequent discussions with people about the quality of books and movies and stories in general. In the end, we always come to the conclusion that it's extra good in our opinion if the story leaves us with something - a really persistent thought, or utter exhaustion from experiencing the story through the character. A story so rich in all the right places that we suffer with the character, laugh with them, fall in love with them and don't want to continue through the bad parts. Of course, we always do, as the story is far too captivating to do anything but go forward.
I never got around to reviewing Cats in Boxes or the chapters before this. I think about two thirds of that was paranoia of sounding stupid and plainly fangirlish, and the other piece was -- well, it's Cats in Boxes, which is a story I've perhaps spawned an addiction with, I'm beginning to think. It's funny, I'd heard of it off and on before I finally looked it up here - and I think you ( ... )

What does terrify me is hearing that it actually gets talked about enough that you hear of it off and on, actually. I never actually know how many people have followed Saix and Vexen's completely random adventures (and you know they ARE-- random, that is) that originally spawned from a single whimsical idea and now sits at short-novel-length. XD
Also, no worries about sounding fangirlish at all. :] We get all types of feedback, seriously, and any input always perks us up no end, so it's allll good. I can understand the need to stand up and pace around because of a story, because I do that all the time, and I can only be proud that Cats -- both of them-- got that reaction out of you.
E-flowers are also acceptable. XD

This is a somewhat disturbing idea too, but I personally still believe it's only like.... one person. Ever. Thus is sanity maintained!
In short, you have thoroughly and utterly accomplished what I mentioned in that first babbling paragraph.
I am so glad to hear this. :) Vexen and Saix are such a bizarre, off-the-wall random pairing, that Kytha and I just sort of ran off with it while hoping that something coherant would result. I am grateful that people have not only read the first Cats, but also Unbreathing; it's a long chunk of words to stick together (54k? I think) and to know that it was worth it... well, makes it worthwhile in the end. ;)
Thank you. :)
