I heard the dumbest thing ever. This one reporter was talking about germany and how they are enviromentally foward (ie the environment comes first w/ their government) and he made this stupid remark about how that doesn't help promote the stamping out of poverty. That you've gotta choose either more jobs or a cleaner environment. But at least another commentor was smart enough to retort w/ the remark that Germany's been able to make it work. I'm glad to say that there's at least one reporter not blinded by the capitalistic Republican agenda of more factories and the earth is not something to worry about.
