This Legacy 1.0
I just couldn't help it. Reading Legacy posts made me want to post one so badly XD. So, this is the "This" legacy! I'm not too funny, but I try. Sorry if you get bored, this update is kind of long and it takes a while to get where it is going- but I'm still working out what is important and what isn't, I guess :)
Welcome to my family. The THIS family! Unique name, right? Nope? Okay. Right now the load screen is pretty boring, but I'm sure that's going to change... soon.
Let's meet our founder, Kendrick This! He's a fortune sim with a Taurus personality. He likes Make Up and Black Hair, but HATES swim wear. I really like his nose. Lifetime want - earn 100,000.
First things first, finding a place to crash. I had Kendrick move into the local shabby apartment building. I also took this time to roll his gender pref, he is straight.
Umm, Kendrick, normal people don't do that.
The welcome wagon consisted on some lady who Kendrick was VERY excited to meet, a really old dude, and the landlord. No bolts with the girl, sadly. See chick on the right? Keep her in mind.
Okay, I told Kendrick to talk to the girl on the right from the last picture. He kept running to the roof and stopping there. Okay, weird. I saw her walk into the apartment across from him, so I told him to introduce himself. He proceeded to walk up to the roof, then took the side steps down to the first floor, then walked back up to the THIRD floor to knock on her door. Oh, and she wasn't home.
Free computer? Why thank you, Mr. Humble!
Kendrick's first ever meal was a sandwich. I predict many of these in his future.
Between the sandwich and this picture, he got a job as a Security Officer. This meant he needed a body skill point. However, he became OBSESSED with the treadmill and ran until he was in the red- multiple times.
As I was trying to make him eat so he wouldn't die, someone he has never met called. She asked him to head downtown with her. He politely declined.
Like many a sim before him, Kendrick refuses to use the perfectly usable chair beside him and instead eats his Mac n' Cheese from his lap. Yes, that is his sandwich plate from before stinking up the room.
Because Kendrick didn't need to be to work unti 6pm, he headed out on the town at 2am. The only person he had any attraction with was the blonde bartender- and that was only one bolt :(
This guy is kinda cute.
Dude: I feel as if someone is watching me...
Kendrick: *glares* You better not marry into my family!
What's this? A black haired sim wearing makeup? Kendrick! Get over there and introduce yourself! (also, for some reason my game loves making townies with those horrible default eyes. Even though I have over 100 pairs of pretty eyes to pick from =[ ugh!)

Yes, Kendrick, it is completely normal to tell a girl you love her the second time you speak to her... ever. (By the way, her name is Marisa and if her "want" to make money is any hint- she's a Fortune sim, too.)
I really hope this doesn't happen often...

After they Woohoo'd, he made dinner... and she stared at the rain outside. Normal people do this, right?
Kendrick found it apropriate to take his BURNT spaghetti upstairs to the roof. In the rain. And Marisa joined him. As did his neighbors.
She's a primper!
It might just be me, but I think bed time snuggles are the CUTEST on the sims. Especially between two sims who aren't even fiances, or living together!
Kendrick: It appears my love interest is using the rest room. Let me wave at her. HELLO, MARISA!
Marisa: Why is he watching me?
YOU TWO ARE NOT EVEN IN LOVE YET HOW ARE YOU IN THE SAME BATHROOM WITHOUT SHOOING?
Now Marisa, I don't normally judge these things but... How can you stand eating at that table?!
If I was this landlord, I would be very angry at how filthy my tenants are...

Holy CRAP!! I finally got her to accept the "move in" proposal and THIS is what she brings us. I checked out her relationships, and she knows a LOT of people. She is also the top of her career (slacker)! She is a fortune sim, as I suspected, and she is a Scorpio. 5 neat, 10 outgoing, 3 lazy, 6 playful, and 0 nice. Wow.
So I gave her a quick make over, and realized that... she is actually kind of really ugly LOL. Oh well, Kendrick is still going to marry her :P
Because of the extra money, I decided to go ahead and move them from an apartment to a real house. It will be needed, because... -drum noises- THERE ARE BABIES ON THE WAY!! (They ACR woohoo'd, I had no idea until I tried to make them try for baby LOL. So no pictures of them producing them, oops!) I didn't realize the lot size I picked was so big... oops! Oh well, room to grow :) I'm a fan of single story homes anyway!

They got married. It was very romatic, I swear.

We interrupt this grilled cheese sandwich to bring you... POP! I would like to take this time to note that throughout all of the puking and popping, the baby pacifier thought bubble did not ONCE appear above Marisa's head!
Oh, oops, I forgot to introduce Nick to you guys! XD He is their Great Dane that I bought a few pictures ago so Kendrick would stop rolling the "obtain a pet" "obtain a dog" wants =P

Marisa: CAN'T YOU SEE I'M GIVING BIRTH?!
He has Marisa's eyes and Kendrick's skin tone, but I can't tel with his mouth or his nose. In fact, I have NO CLUE where that nose came from! He is a boy, and his name is Dallas. Theme for this gen is random city names. I might stick to Texas only cities, not sure. I'll see how many kids they have, haha!
And that is the end of this update! The update won't be for a little while, I'll try to do them either once a week, however with final projects and exams coming up (I'm in college, btw) I'm not sure how much time I will have to play :(
