I have a major problem with people who claim to be liberal democrats but seem to think that no one other then minority groups should be given the right to express themselves. For example, some people argue that all people should have the freedom to practice their religion (Hindu, Wicca, Buddhist, etc.) and yet believe that christians shouldnt be allowed to say amen at the end of the pledge of alligiance because it might insult another religious group. The sad thing about it is that I am a liberal myself...I just dont see what the big deal is, if someone believes in the peoples right to free speech, religion, ect. shouldnt it apply to everyone??
