Embrace your individuality. That is the sermon today. Whatever you are, Be it.

When I pulled out some plaid slacks out of my vintage overnight bag, my parents thought I looked like a clown. The defense presented that this is the "style" of the age, and I'm able to pull it off. If it works, it works.

I don't think I even own a pair of plaid pants. I did in the '70s...hiphuggers even. But I do have a nice pair of fancy jeans (hip huggers) with nice sequins and stitching... in pink.

My husband likes white walls. So most of my house is that way. An orange kitchen would not work for me either, but I could go green or maybe a warm color like that of soft tan suede. Hubby would go along with that. After all, he did let me paint the bedroom in 3 colors, denim blue, the palest of pinks and a hint of mauve.

But the advantage we have is we know we love each other, including our difference in taste!! And yes, thank you, Spandex... not a protected right... know your limits!
