I just read this all in one go. It was perfect, bittersweet and sentimental with a hopeful and happy ending, just like I like. There were so many inspired bits that I can't point them all out, but the Holmes bits were absolutely perfectly placed. <3

Goodness, I hope you got to sleep late this morning! I'm thrilled it pushed the right buttons for you, and thanks so much for letting me know! ♥

Wow! This was so awesome. I loved every minute of reading it. (And I had to go walking with my dad while in the middle of the fifth chapter. Damn!) It's a beautiful, utterly sweet story. The way they were both secretly mooning over the other......

I've been waiting eagerly for this ever since you told a novella size thingummy is coming our way, and it didn't disappoint. Thank you!

Thanks very much! Yes, I pretty much never get tired of secret mooning. :) I'm glad it lived up to my hype!

This was absolutely brill! The depths that you gave the boys were just fantastic. That is, there are stories and then there are STORIES.

We've seen fics where Jeeves has a dark past before, or where Bertie has past lovers who are now friends. But the way you laid it all out was so heartbreaking and wonderful; the layers of feeling behind Harold alone! I cried.

Sexy, laden with jealousy, slathered with sensuality, and taken as far as it could go. YAY THIS.

:D YAY YOU. Thanks a billion!

And yeah, I pretty much shoved in all the J&W fic tropes in the world and gave it a good shake.

Poor poor Stinker. *passes tissues* The Oxford Indiscretion actually exists as a whole other thing in my head, which I will maybe someday get round to writing.

A most enjoyable read! I read it all in one go as well, and I love the love letters, as well as the dancing and flirting they did with each other that night.

The length of the story really work well to bring enough detail and depth of feeling between them. Thank you for such beautiful work!

Thank you kindly! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I love that you mention the dancing-- that was one of my favorite bits to write.

Fanfic never makes me cry. But the love letter from the Box O' Doom came really, really close.

On a more porntastic note, if you write Jeeves's "cure", you will probably be my favorite Jeeves & Wooster ficcer in the history of ever.

Aw! Well, I'll count that a success, then. ;)

And at the risk of getting 10 other people begging me for its immediate release, there is actually a version of that scene in handwriten scribbly existence (though it's pretty angsty for a sex scene). I have a small shedload of other material in this 'verse, and now that it's set up I can keep playing in it without the pressure of the backstory.

I guess you get double thanks for your comment, because I hadn't considered doing much of anything with the rest of the notes and whatnot. But little shortie interludes and laters are a distinct possibility!
