Just four three (go me with the numbering) more to go after this! The first one is not lamely short, it's not! It is pithy. PITHY. Laconic, even. Also, I doubt you'd want it to go on very much longer than it does, assuming I haven't been so obtuse you don't get it. And for your own health, please don't try to work out what year it's supposed to be

The first one was quite zesty - I shudder to think what would come next.
The second was just slightly bittersweet and warmly wonderful.
The third was... ow ow ow. Well done and I'm such a happy ending addict that I can't write this kind of thing, but I can appreciate it for what it is. *snirfle snork*
I'll be imagining another couple of paragraphs, though, so I can put away the kleenex. ;p
Spiffing, m'dear, utterly.

Jeeves' romantic mind seems to get tangled in itself somewhat: a two of him, for instance? - must be the result of self-digging at 5 am. A colourful ficlet with breathtakingly touching depictions of Bertie and poignantly classic comparisons.
Wistful-sad but perplexing: what on earth did Bertie wait so long for?? I wonder how did it really occur that Jeeves had left; can't imagine he'd known Bertie might be in love with him.
The hilarious 'travelling guts' allegory seems even more Bertie-esque than Bertie himself. I didn't much care for Topper but for his being a handy plot device and, unexpectedly, Tuppy and Angela's son.

unexpectedly, Tuppy and Angela's son.
Did the uncle thing throw you? I thought it was plausible enough that a kid of theirs would call him 'uncle' since he and Angela are so sibling-like, but maybe I should've thrown in a touch more explanation.
I'll admit to a certain fondness for Topper, but you're right that he's more or less a device here. I'd been toying with different things like this for a while (and binned about 10 pages involving Bertie's improbable daughter and a whole WTF Bertie/Stinker dynamic) and this was what eventually came out.
