says his father left him a camera and a car and he didn't know what else to do with them except what his father did, 'hunting down things to shoot.'

PHOTOGRAPHER!DEAN. Still brilliant idea. I love his attitude about the whole thing, like he's kind of pissed at inheriting a hobby/profession, but clearly just in the way that he thinks he's supposed to be. XD

<3

We know how much I like making people photographers. At least there wasn't Leica-fondling. XD Oh, wait, that could have been kinda hot.

Please though? Please? If this were continued I think I could save it to my fanfiction bookmark and even maybe print it out for days when my internet broke. It's so fantastic and I want a resolution sooo bad.

This has a certain je ne sais quoi quality that makes it just lovely. Wonderful little piece with interesting charactization and voices. I'd love to see this continue.

I'm glad you enjoyed, it, thank you! I don't know that I'll do any kind of continuation, but I seem to be unable to predict what my brain is going to do so I won't say never.

Oh, thank you for the lovely comment! <3 (Hotel Cas definitely needs a lot of hugs.) I'm glad the style worked for you with the story, too. I don't know that I'll do any sequels, but I won't promise not to either.

I loved this a great deal. Cas' stream of consciousness narration is beautiful and a bit heartbreaking, because of how lonely he is, doing so many things for so many people who come and go and mostly never come back, and if they do, it's not for him. The way he inches closer to Dean, wanting to make an exception this time, and seemingly it works.

I would love to see a time stamp from somewhere into the future, when they'll have already reunited, but this stands just fine on its own. Thanks for a wonderful, atmospheric read. ♥

and if they do, it's not for him Yes, that! Exactly that. <3 I guess maybe part of the atmosphere is that I recently drove through the area where this is set and it seemed all strange and sad and lonely and more worn than I remembered.

I like the idea of a timestamp! Thank you for reading and for the lovely comment!
