Whee, this was so good! A S2, in-character Daryl/Glenn fic in ~14K words of glory! It has some really striking lines and gorgeous phrases throughout, and I especially appreciate how it maintains sweetness between characters despite all the odds stacked against them. Wonderful. <3

I considered including favorite quotes here in the comment but quickly realized that I'd end up quoting the whole damn thing if I did. Fluffy?! I'm just...broken, seriously. I've kind of been dipping my toe into Daryl/Glenn, not too sure if I could totally buy into the pairing, but this story absolutely convinces me. OMG yes it works, simply, beautifully, wonderfully. If I decide to lure any of my friends into the pairing as well I'm going to point them right here because Walking Dead slash just doesn't get any better.

Oh, between this and your other comment my day is pretty much made! :D It's a pairing you definitely have to work for to make it make the right kind of sense; that I buy it myself owes a lot to vegarin's Friction Match, which I haven't read heaps of fic in this fandom but that was the thing (other than just liking both characters a lot) that made me want to see how they work.
