[Action -752 Partridge Drive/Surrounding area-]

[There is a new girl in your house, Ushiromiya family! Unlike most newbies, she doesn't look confused, or scared, or any of that horrible stuff most people feel when they first wake up in Mayfield. In fact, she just looks... curious. She's examining her house, moving about with a strange sense of ( Read more... )

[There is a grumbly thing in a closet! A grumbly growly upset thing.

...with several different mental voices, though four are easily distinguished. They all "speak" in fragments; some overlaid on the ends of others, some in entirely different languages, some pondering wildly different thoughts ("I'm hungry" to "is it raining?" to "whyyyyyyy"). One thing is consistent: they're all muttering.

So at least it's a quiet mental mess!]

[Oh man not this again. Koishi had been back home long enough to get used to not hearing the thoughts of others - not that she had even grown used to THAT ability after not having it for so long - so even though the thoughts are quiet, it does make her head hurt a little.

So obviously, the right choice of action when confronted with that pain is to go investigate! She finds the closet the noise is coming from, and sloowly opens the door.]

... Why are you hiding in here?

[This icon is pretty much an accurate representation of Flandre right when Koishi opened the door.

...no really she is so confused. SHE WAS HIDING. Perfectly hidden!

The little vampire just blinks a bit owlishly right back at her.]

...Meiling wasn't right. Or Sakuya, or Patchouli, or...anyone!

[A picture of each person pops into her mind with each name; mostly accurate, though skewed a bit. Her thoughts more or less burble the same thing (for the moment), albeit in French and English and Japanese and whatever else this kid knows.]

[Koishi can't remember ever running into someone with a mind as jumbled as this girl's. It's really making her head hurt, and she probably should leave her alone, but her curiosity is getting the better of her.] Wasn't right about what?

[...Koishi was brought back, too? Why wasn't she in the same house, then? Is she safe, is she hurt, does she still have her eye -

All these questions swirl around in Satori's mind, and all she can manage is to croak weakly:]

...Koishi.

Hey, sis! I didn't know you were brought back too!

Yes, I...woke up a few days ago, in the same house as before.

... Really? That's kinda weird, then, that they didn't let me stay there too... [She whines a little.] I'd rather stay with you and Okuu than a bunch of strange people!

Did the same thing happen to you?

I don't know. Even though people have said I was here before, I don't remember it...

Oh-! I could ask, isn't it so?

Oh, I think that happened to some people when I was here last time... that's even weirder.

Yeah, that would help!

But Koishi-chan did leave! Did you get to go back home??

Oh, oh, we should play again if you want!

I did! It was weird. Like I never left.

Okay!! Are there any others from home we can play with too?

I actually spoke to someone a little while ago who had the same happening to them.. Apparently I now live in the house they used to live in a few months ago. So yes, it's possible.

That's really weird... I don't think I ever heard about that happening while I was here last time...

It seems really silly, too! 'Cause we're supposed to act like a family with the other people in the house, so why would they give us a totally different family when we come back?

Hmm, their logic for it doesn't really make sense.. The only thing I can think of is that they would just treat you like a different person entirely when you come back, but even in that case it seems a little far-fetched.
