SO, Star Wars was incredible. I laughed, I cried, I found even stronger hatred from Bush... all in one movie. Everyone needs to see it immediately (ok, yes, I am a bit of a nerd)... if you need to borry a good Star Wars posse, try Jessie and Nora.

Yeah, I've been really wanting to see the new one (not so much that Im a Star Wars junkie but an Ewen McGregor fan ;)! ) and I was curious. I saw something somewhere mentioning how the movie is under criticism for attacking Bush. (Not that the media doesnt do it everyday anyways...duh) How did it go about doing that?

Well, the Star Wars political story line is about a chancellor that gains for power and control over the Senate in a time of war that he was responsible for (sound familiar?). Add that with the witty dialogue that mimics stuff almost directly from Bush's speeches justifying this "War on Terrorism" and you get a pretty clear allegory of the evilness of tainted democracy (or a tainted republic, I suppose).
