greg it was really good seeing you today. i miss you alot, we usto hang out so much and then it just like ended. and its sad. we had some really good times together and you always put me in a good mood. From reading this entry you seem a little down and out, dont be sad, things always get better. and hey your going to college..yeah im kind of jealous. :-( well...call me sometime and we can hang out, you know, watch the movie troy..that i still haven't returned :-/ ouch. greg normally you are very insightful, but unfortunately I have to disagree with this entry 100 percent. True, many people are famous for the chaos and destruction they brough, ie hitler like you said, but there are many more remembered for their great deed. Take into consideration Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Benjamin Franklin, Ghandi, Albert Einstein, etc. People recognize names that are prevelant to their current times. Today, polio is not an issue, therefore knowing who created the vaccine seems irrelevant, not a good thing, but that's just the reality. If it's something relevant to the times, people remember it. So while your statement holds some truth, I highly disagree with it. We remember those who caused harm and death to learn from history's past mistakes, how to prevent it from happening again. People remember what is relevant to the times, that's the way it is, and human beings most certainly have a purpose, the one's that do nothing made a conscious decision not to, those who do recognized that they have a
