Since I always think of maple syrup, I had to Google this cheese connection, and learned that Vermont has the highest number of cheesemakers per capita for any State in the US. Wow. Did you already know that? No wonder you're tempted! Plus it's so gorgeous there. Good luck with your decision making!

No, I didn't know that they had the highest number of cheese makers per capita. However, I do know that the cheese that has sent me into paroxyms of joy have been from Vermont. :) Thanks for the luck. I'm planning for at least a visit soon, if nothing else.
