KoD is just great. But in Kdrama World, is it true that directors are ALWAYS men and writers are ALWAYS women? Holy biological determinism, Batman!

No, I haven't seen her before, though I see she's gotten good reviews and generally people like her. I think part of the reason I have issues with her are her goofy outfits. She's so clueless hipster girl! I fear I like my kdrama heroines best when they are a little more feminine and elegant.

But she's a good foil for Anthony and I look forward to their eventual romantic interaction.

I wasn't planning to watch KoD at first either, but I heard good things and decided to try the first ep and I was HOOKED.

Either Siwon's character, or PD Joo (Anthony's right-hand guy). It just seems more age-appropriate.

But I am sure there will be some dalliance with Siwon. How could there not? I guess he would have to break up with steam-whistle-voice girlfriend. They're kind of a cute couple, though.

Damn. That's quite a dinner and, with the exception of the fact that I am rather violently allergic to duck, it sounds delicious. Creamed spinach is one of my favorite things on earth and the squash tartlets sounds amazing.

I'm sorry to hear of the lack of "cook and eat as much as you can whilst saying what you are thankful for" vibe. Why isn't P into it? Myself, I've found that I enjoy Thanksgiving far more without dealing with family and distant relations. Of course, I love them all, but T-day meals with friends is su much easier.

And The Darkest Hour sounds interesting. Isn't Emile Hirsch in it? I do like him.

P isn't into Thanksgiving because he's not American and hates family get-togethers anyway. Even though he's lived in the US for over 20 years, he's still surprised to discover that there's a Thursday holiday at the end of November ;-)

I think it would be fun to have a Thanksgiving with friends, but I also tend to think, I have a family, why aren't I with them? And all my close friends here are also close to their families. But if I go to my mom's I end up missing my dad so much. We could all go to my cousin in Buffalo but then I would have to go to Buffalo. I think I am stuck in a childhood-nostalgia bind that I need to find my way out of.

Yeah, Emile Hirsch plays the Leo Di Caprio lookalike ;-) I don't know if it was "interesting" but it was definitely fun and a pleasant way to pass the time.
