Ugh, have been sick with a virus and a fever and pukeyness and missing work, since Monday evening--all relatively unusual for me. The few hours while being feverish made me feel rather delightfully stoned were OK, but the longer hours of feeling like I had chronic arthritis (killer joint pain, couldn't sleep) and the headache, earache, sore throat

wow, sorry you've been sick all week, it sounds really horrible! is it the flu? urgh...everyone hates being sick, but it's even worse when you have something you're looking forward to that it may ruin. *be well*

as for the Korean actors, I think a couple people already made good points - plastic surgery is the cause of a lot of the ultra-beauty, and supporting cast members can be average-looking while the leads have to be really hot - but I have noticed that it seems as though after age 35 or 40...seems like Korean actors suddenly age. Nothing wrong with that, I mean, I'm totally AGAINST the cult of youth that is so popular these days. Maybe it's not that they suddenly show their age, but that they reach the point where they don't care to look like an idol anymore and sort of "let it go"?

I guess I should look into what "Gloria" is, I haven't heard of it. Airing now?

not the flu, I don't think, because I didn't have any respiratory symptoms (or otherwise I'd probably be in the hospital). Just one of those viruses that burns its way through your system, I guess.

Gloria is airing now, 28 out of 50 eps are subbed. I think I'm up to #24 now. So good! And so far nobody's been beaten with a golf club or thrashed with a cello bow.
