I spent the weekend watching doramas, and other stuff.

Well, more precisely, I spent the weekend finishing up doramas, taking my son to the Y to swim and then to a movie, and kicking back while my heighbor's husband made delicious food on our grill (they don't have one, and luckily for us, he is a devoted and ( Read more... )

ooh, Red Mango, yum yum! we used to have one here, but it did not survive! sorry you didn't like "Despicable Me" so much, I thought it was hilarious! I have one of the minions laughing as the ringtone on my phone now and it cracks me up!

NEway, OMG your summaries of the doramas are HILARIOUS! I stopped watching "Tsuki..." at before the half-way point b/c I couldn't get into it. Wonder if it's worth just d/ling the finale or no?

I think you could probably follow the plot, as things don't change much over the course of the dorama (very static) and it is a distillation of everything that happened before. I say go for it!

I've only seen the first ep, and IDK yet if I want to continue watching Sunao ni Narenakute. xD;

You should watch Takuya's other dramas. His old ones like Beautiful Life, Pride, Engine, Long Vacation, Love Generation those were really entertaining, imo.

oooh! I need a dorama watching project now, something I can marathon. A Takua dorama seems perfect!

Where shall I start? Pride? Although I am not certain about the whole hockey thing ...

Hmm. This is a tough question. xD My personal favorite was Beautiful Life (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Beautiful_Life). I watched it 3 times already. I also really enjoyed Long Vacation and Love Generation and Engine. I haven't watched CHANGE and Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi but I heard so many good things about them. Oh and Karei Naru Ichizoku, too.

I liked Pride, but I kinda liked Good Luck better. Okay, I'm not helping here. XD I suggest you start with either Beautiful Life or Engine? Almost everyone I know loved it. ^^

God, it has been such a long time since I have watched a J or K drama. I can't even keep up right now - am so into Western television at the moment, and I can barely keep up with that!

Frozen yogurt sounds pretty awesome! Too bad I don't have a freezer, or I'd try to make some myself. I've never seen or heard of a shop selling them here.

And I envy you your neighbour! XD
