my vacation is almost over, that makes me sad.

so today was fun!
cait picked me up around 1pm, and we headed up to monarch tattoo in newfoundland, so it's all the way up 23, it took a good 40min to get there, we saw a bear! he was so cute, he could kill me but he was cute! anyways we get up there, and i meet with john, and cait's like "janine's here to make an appointment" and hes like well ( Read more... )

so last week was okay, until friday. i was trying to put this fixture in the kids department, and well, the box that it was in broke when i lifted it, hence the shlves falling on my foot, and me having a "severe foot sprain and torn ligament fibers" yeah. so my mom made me go to the ER for that, and now my ass is on crutches, and we all know how ( Read more... )

so monday night was amazing. i went into NYC with my mom to see rent because it was anthony rapp & adam pascal's first night back in over 10years. it was fucking amazing. the show started late, so around 8:15 they both walk out on to the stage, that resulted in an over 5 minuet standing ovation before they even said a word. it was just amazing to ( Read more... )

today i worked until 4ish, it was a non-stop moving day. i have "change over" on tuesday, which is basically when everything in my department changes, display wise, so i had to re-do all that today so i'm not doing it all on tuesday. i put everything up except for the promotions, it was a very ( Read more... )

well this weekend was the release of harry potter 7, the end result of my 2 months of planning. it was a nite i'll never forget. i got chocked up a few times just seeing everyone in the store, over 3000 people, take in and appreciated the months of planning i did. it was kinda beautiful. seeing how this one book has touched so many people, the ( Read more... )
