Bleh! Okay, as of right now, I'm taking a break from being grumpy. Let's do something fun to celebrate the end of SGA, huh? Let's do some squee

Oh, I love that the kiss is accidental but that Sam is tempted. And I love the tone and that you're sending the city back to Pegasus and... just... everything. :-)

Yay, thanks! You know, I'm not sure I'd ever written Sam before, but when I saw the prompt I just kind of went there. Apparently, writing = my post-series therapy. ;)

this is just perfect - I love the accidental kiss and the sort of unfulfilled what-ifs of the situation; it's just right for the two of them, for all they have in common and all the space (literal and metaphorical) that's between them. I think my favourite part is John saying "We'll leave the light on" - it makes me feel all warm inside. I believe I shall take this as canon. :)

Oooh, thanks! So glad you enjoyed. I love Atlantis, and want her in Pegasus, darn it! And I know Sam had a lot of years with her team that she must miss, but I figure her heart's big enough to miss Atlantis, too.

Oooh, I like! Love that the kiss is an accident but Sam is thinking maybe and could. Sam/John is a sekrit fave pairing of mine. Slip Rodney in between them and I'm a happy camper. So, thank you for this lovely little almost moment between her and John. :))

I loved them working together, much more than I expected to, for exactly the reasons you give. She appreciated him! And he respected her! Plus, you know, the pretty.
And hey, we have closed canon now. Anything could happen. ;)

Eeee! John clearly respected Sam and worked with her much better than with previous commanders, so I love the obvious friendship between them, the connection of Atlantis and that hint of 'what if.' Very cool. :)
