Hey guys, it's monday night and I'm feeling like I should write something. So, while I try to get this John/Rodney watersports fic off the ground ( . . . don't ask) you should give me fic prompts. Song lyrics, poetry, random words, moods, images, etc. are good, along with fandom/characters/pairing. I like prompts that are specific but

I dunno, maybe it's not happy, but it's certainly real. And very - bitterly satisfying, does that makes sense? Because, and don't get me wrong, I love the McKay/Sheppard trope of... "and then we realized we were SOULMATES" kind of thing, but honestly? If these two guys every *did* get together? It could turn out like this, just ordinary and a little sordid and terribly, terribly sad.

I like the ones you did (except for the grim, depressing one. *flees from unhappy stories*) - especially Teyla doing concerts on Earth and John and Rodney waltzing at the ITC party. Yay for cultural exchange!

Oh my gosh, I was totally expecting something that involved Teyla with paste in her hair and then this was all.. you know, serious like and awesome. Oh gosh. Teyla. I want to hug her.

(Also, the first one made me laugh out loud so many times what with the paperwork and John's summaries of the events of the beginning of S1 and everything else and the one about Batman v. The Fantastic Four is something that I honestly expect to see in canon one of these days [except maybe without the make-up sex but YOU NEVER KNOW] and the Auden one broke my heart into 309823094 piece and the last once was MADE OF WIN because I totally have a dancing kink. Oh man. It was lovely.)

Anyway, I guess I should go to bed at one point or something.

I'm so glad you liked it! The Teyla one is a little off my usual beaten path, so I wasn't sure about it. And I absolutely hope that the Batman vs Fantastic Four thing shows up in canon, WITH MAKEUP SEX, because if you're gonna dream, why not dream big, right?
