Aww, honey. *pats your back* Sorry 'bout that. *hands you Kleenex*

I loved the movie. Loved it. I know people are saying it wasn't perfect, it wasn't what they hoped for and wanted, and that's cool. It is what it is, and it blew me away. R liked it too. I was a little worried about him; it's been only 18 months since his Dad passed away. I think he cried a little. Actually, a lot of people in the theater cried. The demographics surprised me---about 90% of the folks in the theater were over the age of 55. During the last 30 minutes, no one spoke, moved, coughed, rustled popcorn bags, nothing. You could feel the magic in the air. Well, that, and hear the sniffling too. ;)

It did? I thought it was suppoused to be a romantic comedy-- I might have to shell out the eight bucks and go see it...

*hugs you*

I always say that crying during (or after) a movie means I got what I paid for: a deep, emotional thrust that shook things up inside. A cheap thrill, I think my brother called it :-)

*gigglesnort* Well, I am cheap, I've said it for years... :D Hee!

Yes, the movie is being promoted as romantic comedy, but it's more than that. It's a movie about family and life and loss and redemption. It was moving and funny and goofy in the right places. It was wonderful, at least, it was to me.

*squishes you*

:) Awww... I sobbbed like a baby during the movie. I found the message pretty personal, like you. Made me want to call my dad and say hi before it's too late.

Exactly. I'm going to see mine tomorrow, and I hope I can keep from getting all sniffly around him. He gets pretty alarmed by weepy women. ;D

And I cried during the movie too, but afterwards, I was literally *howling* in the car. My poor husband didn't know what to do. I'm such a goof! ;D

Oh my gosh, ROTK *killed* me. My husband and I were both crying like babies at the end of ROTK. Then again, so was about 99% of the folks in the theater, so it was all good. ;D I love it when audiences really get into a movie, even if it means we're all sniffling together. ;D

*hugs you like mad*
