From the Surface to the Furnace- a book review
You've probably never heard of the Escape From Furnace series by Alexander Gordon Smith, and that makes perfect sense. The genre, like the plot itself, is deep in the underground. A somewhat eclectic mix of horror, adventure, sci-fi, and something that may or may not be magic, it's buried pretty deep under the staggering slums of paranormal romance

I love books like Furnace, though, so nice and dark and slightly smelly. I'll be doing some fanfic recs later, but for now, novels are my taste. Also.
