I haven't been to a wedding since I was about nine years old, and now I can truthfully say that I've sung at one.

Dan and Abi were in the gospel choir before I joined it, they met there, fell in love and they got married today, and invited the choir to sing during the service. We were singing from the sort of alcovey bit above tho, so the soloists ( Read more... )

By the way, I tried to cheat by googling the quote, and the first two links were to your blog! (The third one was to a site for Maid Marian and her Merry Men, so I'm going to guess that, because I'm a cheating cheater.)

Wow, I'm a google glory-thief, or some such better phrase I can't think of.
Cheating obviousy works tho, cuz it was Maid Marian. I'm really starting to regret not bringing my DVDs back to uni with me. Who can resist Tony Robinson in a bizarrely coloured Saxon costume singing random songs? Come to think of it, it's almost like the Boosh of kids' TV.
So yeah, imaginary limoncello for you. But you cheated, so it's not very alcoholic.

O, we so could! My ideas tend to be thinly disguised wanton fantasies, and I doubt anyone but me would be interested in them lol. Either that or quite sick. So I'd be well excited about collaborating or something.

I think I've only ever been to about 3. Most of my family now, especially the ones getting married for the second time, are of the 'run off to Gretna Green' school of thought. I have a mate who's been a bridesmaid multiple times, I've never even done it once. I always felt cheated lol.
