Apparently I can't resist turning other people into Batman. Based on a prompt over at ficbending since I also can't resist anon meme's.

Summery: It's the same story heard a million times over, on a thousand different worlds. Eight year old boy sees his parents murdered by a mugger in an alleyway, and grows up to be a masked crime fighter with a predisposition

Did you purposely choose an owl bat for Batman and his other version?

I'm trying to imagine what Mako's outfit would look like given that I've been sketching out the Bros character costumes (one especially after the last episode). For some reason, I'm imagining Mako's to be similar to the Black Bat's one since it does have the scarf.

I did. The Owl part came from Owlman. XD My first thought after seeing the Wolfbats was about this. *snap*

I'm pretty sure that I'm a week behind on Korra right now. I have cable, so I really want to watch things on my TV as much as I can cause 1) I'm paying for it, and 2) it'll actually support the shows, but for some reason I don't have Nickelodeon as a channel, even though I have it On Demand. On Demand, sadly, seems to take about a week to come out for Korra. (Both YJ and GL should I miss them are up the next day.)

I love the idea of a Black Bat type get up for Mako XD

Bolin, by the way, for me in this whole DC mash up thing is the equivalent of Superman. He's strong, good hearted, kinda naive at times, and he has that little twirly bit of hair in the front.

...now that you mention it, Bolin does have the spitcurl and would dress up to save other people. I could totally see him making his costume up behind Mako's back, something flashy, heroic pose and all.

It was the only darker character I could think of that had something that could be substituted with a scarf. Otherwise I kept thinking about various Power Rangers.

And I could totally see him making a costume that involved wearing your underpants over your outer-pants.

In this entire canon after watching a few more episodes of Korra, Asami could totally be Black Canary.

That said I can picture Asami doing a Canary Cry in some fishnets already XD
