(Psst! It looks like I'm the only one posting in here these days. I don't want you to feel like you have to keep it going for me. If you want to ax this small yet time consuming bit of your day, feel free, as far as I'm concerned.)
Thank you for suggesting this. I had been thinking about it for a while.
Yes, I think I will take you up on the offer. Consider Thing on hiatus until such time as 1) someone wants to post the daily quote and 2) there is a quorum of regular posters.
Well, darn! I was just getting ready to post my Saturday/Sunday numbers now that I'm back into the writing post-vacation.
But I can understand how having to come up with a daily quote can be a real time-consuming pain. So I understand the desire to take a break.
Should we just have a daily roll call sans quote, and people who want to post numbers can? Or we could all just retreat to our personal LJ.
For the record, on Sat/Sun I rewrote "Green Tears on Black Velvet" for sending to my local Crit Group. After all was said and done, it was 4.25 hours of work and credit of 480 new words and 2617 words revision credit. We'll see what the group thinks of it!
