I love how ANGRY all the ~real opera fans~ are getting at this dumb programme. XD I don't care if it "degrades opera", Darius singing in French makes my knees wobble. I don't mind being a "clueless philistine". (Facebook argument with a twerp I used to go to school with.)

Exactly! That's what I said. Nobody's saying any of these popstars who get a couple of weeks of opera training for a tv entertainment show are suddenly going to get roles in Covent Garden and steal work from all the greats. It's just a bit of fun. But then I suppose I get annoyed when it seems like people are mocking knitting or silent films or whatever even if it's really just me being oversensitive, everyone's got their loves and bugs. I love opera, it's just not my biggest number one passion like it is for this girl so I sort of see her pov as well, she was just such a ratty nasty bitch to me about it. XD

Darius is SMOKING. *_* I thought I was over it but oh god how heterosexual do I feel every Friday night now? It's ridiculous, he's so hot it's not even human.

And she's really good! I knew she would be. She gets on my nerves though and I can't work out why, probably because she gets all nervous and keeps saying she's rubbish when she's clearly one of the best there and it all seems fake. D: She can do it, though!
