Are all the injured moved to the clinic? Fayt's being looked after with Aerith. I'm there now, getting my leg patched up... stupid shrapnel...

I want as many updates on the Warden's movements as possible. If we get the chance, I want to pin him in one area.

Do you have a plan? Since the Warden has a measure of the Keepers' power, perhaps we could contain him in the same sort of barrier that held the first one -- the one that destroyed the old compound, that is.

I am willing to assist you. So far I have been staying out of the way; but I can track his movements if no one else will. I tire more slowly than the living.

(OOC: Why yes Sylvanas has withdrawn somewhat. The last two times she took control failed spectacularly (Harth's capture/"death" and the execution attempt).

Yes, Maria and I were talking briefly before the Keepers attack started. We've got a basic outline and we'll be expanding on it as soon as the current crisis is over. Everyone will have the same level of knowledge under this new group. Less emphasis on good feelings and more on results.

As for the Warden, I'd like if possible to isolate him to one area of the compound. I get the feeling this isn't a permanent change in him... based on the power he's exhibiting, it's almost like the Keepers are controlling him, which I doubt they'll continue to do if he'd rendered ineffective. What we need is a way to immobilize or knock him out... and avoid killing him, if at all possible.

[OOC: That's okay, Jing's a little more jaded sounding himself. And he's also a little worried that she's still angry with him.]

I have...expendable forces. Ones that do not feel pain, and follow my orders without question. They would be appropriate for the kind of task you are proposing.

(OOC: Her skeletons. Ever since she lost her "bodyguard" (Leon) she keeps a few around her in public -- when she decides to be seen at all, that is. For some reason the muse decided to be vague.)

All right. Can we use them as decoys -- that is, will the Warden react to their presence?

That reminds me. He seems to be... erratic in his attacking. Like he's... hm. All reactionary.

Glad to see you again in command, Jing.

Yeah, well...

Are you back to your usual self? Aligoté's worried about you. We all are.

If you mean to ask if Sheifa's back, no. She'll be sleeping a little longer. She can't fight in the state she's in, more so when she finds out that Selphie's disappeared.

Thank you for your concern, but there's nothing to be worried about.

Hm. Well, not the strangest thing that's happened here. Am I supposed to call you Sheifa or something else?

That doesn't mean friends won't worry anyway. That's the whole point.

What about...stunning him?

That'd be ideal, yeah. I don't want to resort to something more permanent unless it's absolutely necessary.

It wouldn't be permanent. Just knock him out for a while - stun him. My phaser - it's a laser weapon - has a variety of settings and the lowest one is stun. I can pre-set and lock it to that setting and show you how to fire it.

I want it back, though, but if you intend to stop the guy, I'll gladly lend it to you.

to think someone like you has that kind of weapon

You'd be better off with someone who's a little more familiar with firearms, I'd think, but it's a good offer. I'll let you know.

Thanks, Ezri.

Well, I await your orders.

Yeah. All the people we talked about, although I added Samus because... well, it's Samus.

Wha--?

I figured you'd say that. :)

How's your leg? We're kind of a matching set now.

As if you'd expect anything less? ^_~

It's on the mend, thank goodness. But I did cop a burn from that crazy-ass Warden when I went to see what was going on.

I don't like this shit, one bit. And it's scaring me, too.

I don't want you to think I'm taking you or anyone else for granted.

We'll get him stopped.

Yeah...
