[Kay looks a little weirded out by this, and sort of spins in place looking at Zidane as he looks back at her.]

[Kay looks up at Lion, hesitating for a second and chewing on her lip a little before answering.]

"...No..."

[beamiracle]

[Oh dear. Lion kneels down so they can be at eye level.]

Are you lost? Perhaps I can help you find who you're looking for.

[promised_daddy]

[She seems a little uneasy about that.]

"...Daddy said I shouldn't go with strangers."

[Backing off a little.]

[Gumeshoe is walking down the street, carrying a small grocery bag of some snacks and other items his home needs to restock. He's really just walking on auto pilot when a small figure catches his eye.]

"What the-?"

[Is that Kay? But she's not that small normally. Either way, it's looking like she's in trouble, so he heads over to see if he can help, and maybe get some answers.]

[promised_daddy]

[Kay's been doing a good job not crying in front of strangers, but she's only been getting more and more worried and panicked as she continues to wander around. So when Gumshoe walks over and she finally recognizes a familiar face, Kay goes barreling right into him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug while starting to cry.]

[Hugs back to comfort Kay while his mind quickly tries to figure out what's going on or at least what to do.

1.) Kay's a young kid all of a sudden, possibly because of something in Mayfield.

2.) She seemed lost, so it's possibly her mind's set as a kid and before she came to Mayfield.

3.) She's bawling her eyes out, do something about that!]

"Hey, hey, calm down, Kay. Everything's going to be alright, okay? You just tell me what's wrong and we'll figure out what to do together, alright?

You're safe now, and I'll make sure you stay safe."

"Gummy... I-I think I'm lost."
