UPDATE, FRIDAY EVENING: Based on the Bye information, here is the new "baseline" scenario for a 4500 person tournament going into the last round... 0.56 players at 14-0 7.88 players at 13-1 (51.23 players at 12-2 and in a PTQ final)
Top 32 looks like it's very close to a cut at 13-2, and less than a quarter of the 12-3 players get money at all. It's hard out there for a Mage!
Then there's the top 8 situation. Not only does the Baseline Scenario get us a potential 9th player at 13-1-1 (e.g. one match will be unable to draw) but this excludes the pair-down effect and the unintentional draw effect. Thus, taking an early draw is very much not safe, and not recommended in the first pod.
